Old Friends

I see Margaret Thatcher's former roommate may see his day in court.

BBC - May 28, 2004 - A Chilean court has stripped former military leader Augusto Pinochet of his immunity from prosecution.

The surprise move paves the way for his trial on charges of human rights abuses during his 1973-1990 rule.
Too bad he's 88 years old. I'd rather he withered a few decades in solitary than pass away shortly before or after trial.

Maybe Kissinger will testify how he thinks Pinochet is just a "victim of all leftwing groups" Yeah, Henry, everyone knows the desaparecidos were awfully cruel to little Augusto.
